Judit Németh

The attractive Hungarian Judit Németh has an extraordinary stage-presence, a beautiful voice and perfect German.  She has a close relationship with the Budapest State Opera, the Budapest Wagner-Festival and  Bayreuth Festival and is especially known for her intense interpretation of  Wagner’s great heroines, such as Fricka (State Opera and Wagner Festival Budapest, Canadian Opera, Teatro Nacional de Sao Carlos Lisboa, Semperoper Dresden, Deutsche Oper Berlin) Brangäne (State Opera and Wagner Festival Budapest), Venus (State Opera Budapest, Teatro alla Scala di Milano, Bayreuth Festival, Gran Teatro del Liceu Barcelona, Nationaltheater Mannheim, Den Norske Opera Oslo) Waltraute (Bayreuth Festival), Ortrud (Bayreuth Festival, Semperoper Dresden) or Kundry (State Opera and Wagner Festival Budapest, Palau de les Arts Valencia, Wagner Festival Wels).  In 2007 she debuted as Brünnhilde (Die Walküre) in Budapest with great success, which she also sang at the New National Theatre Tokyo in 2009. She sang 2012 Brünnhilde  in Walküre in  the new  production of Achim Freyer at the Nationaltheater Mannheim and will be herad again as Brünnhilde in Siegfried in December 2012 as well as in Götterdämmerung in March 2013.
