Anja Kampe

„Especially the fabulous and shining Isolde which never seems exerted performed by Anja Kampe shows which kind of calibre she has got. Her Isolde has got warmth, emotions and determination. Her voice is full of strength but not too exuberant, flexible but definitely dramatic. It has the vocal pitch, a broad and full middle tessitura and an extraordinary luscious depth. Thanks to her dazzling stage presence, her characterful round timbre on the finely focussed level of her soprano Anja Kampe succeeded in the doubtlessly most convincing vocal performance of the premiere evening.” Das Opernglas
