Jürgen Linn
The renowned Viennese magazine Der Neue Merker says about Jürgen Linn`s role debut as Baron Ochs in 2010: "Jürgen Linn`s acting was spontaneous and playful with a great Viennese accent...his voice showed all qualities of a real bass. I was very impressed with his luscious, full and warm deep notes in certain passages. The singer, who is internationally in high demand for the big German repertoire, is also among those artists that get too little renommée in spite of their excellent performances." After qualifying as a teacher for handicapped children, the German bassbaritone with the impressing voice and great stage presence, studied voice at the Musikhochschule Mannheim and received the special prize for young talent of the city of Mannheim in 1990.
