This young man is a real black bass and a true successor to Matti Salminen. With his impressive voice he made a highly acclaimed debut as Hagen in Summer 2016 at the Nationaltheater Mannheim. In season 2016/17 he sang Filippo II (Don Carlo) in Bielefeld and Hunding at the Wagner Days at Müpa Budapest under the baton of M° Adam Fischer. In the season 2017/18 he gives his debuts as Rocco in a new production of ‘Fidelio’ in Mannheim, as König Karl in ‘Fierrabras’ at Teatro alla Scala and in the RINF for children at Bayreuth Festival. Up from the season 2018/19, he will be a member of the Oper Leipzig, where he will be singing amongst others Grande Inquisitore (Don Carlo) Landgraf (Tannhäuser), Eremit (Freischütz), Kezal (Die verkaufte Braut), Fasolt and Hagen.
