Simone Schröder

“She articulates herself very clearly, holds her smooth, blooming alto with prudence and fills all her roles (Erda in Das Rheingold and Siegfried, as well as Schwertleite in Die Walküre and the Erste Norn in the Götterdämmerung) with expressive liveliness. Furthermore she is the only solo artist in this season, in the entire first cycle, who sings with pure intonation without any trace of contesting."
