The Hungarian Mezzo Soprano is winner of the Franz Liszt Prize in 2017 for her extraordinary musical and theatrical work and was honored as ‘Kammersängerin’ of the Hungarian State Opera Budapest. She feels convenient in the German, Italian and French repertoire. With a great depth in her timbre and her perfect diction she conquers the stages worldwide. In season 2017/18, Atala Schöck is singing the title role of Carmen in Brno and Gertrud in the new production of Hänsel und Gretel at Hungarian State Opera. She is one of the regular guest stars of the Wagner Days at Müpa Budapest where she will make her debut as Brangäne in the new production of ‘Tristan und Isolde’ under the baton of M° Ádám Fischer in June 2018.
